There is a saying that goes "No one is irreplaceable", one would wonder if fast rising and fresh "Book creator", Promise Munachi Iwuchukwu  is a replacement of Award winning Writer, Chimamanda  Ngozi Adichie,  as the Lagos-based, clairvoyant author launched her first published novel 'Pounds of Filth' on Sunday, 28 July, in Lagos Nigeria.

The Launch had lots of prominent readers and writers who gathered to honor the Author"

The United State of America based publisher, Xlibris Publications reviewed The 48 page novel  and he said "anyone who seeks rebirth, blossoms and purification must purchase and read this heart-warming journey of a novel, which reveals the hidden complexity of a simple life".

The publisher praised the author saying plots were  "clearly crafted to reveal world of uncertainties, mysteries and fantasies" that cannot but thrill the reader.

According to the reviewer, Chief P. Okolobo, Promise’s Pounds of Filth conveys arguments of universal concern; thereby highlighting the need to improve readership among young people.

He urged the readers to dare the book and "let the author beguile them with some unspoken messages"

Pounds of Filth employs traditional African ideology to examine the concept of fate in human existence, using real life situations to draw a line between, “what is said and what is done”.
